Calaveras County. In 2009 my wife Lori and I started investigating the health benefits of eating grass fed beef. We decided to give it a try and finished one animal on grass to put into our own freezer. The flavor was excellent and the meat was so tender that we were sold on grass fed animals forever. It was then that we decided to start finishing our own naturally raised, grass fed steers and supply them to our friends and neighbors.
